  • Information about the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak has been moved to a new, separate area. Information provided by DCDEE related to COVID-19 and child care providers, settings and health precautions can now be found on the Coronavirus Information for Child Care page.

 

 

Kindergarten School Search tool available

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Child Development and Early Education has launched a new Kindergarten School Search tool to help North Carolina families find kindergarten education opportunities offered by public schools, including charter schools, and private schools. This interactive tool also has information about Opportunity Scholarships and Education Student Accounts (ESA+).

Users may search for schools offering kindergarten by school name, school type (public, private, or charter), and/or location using county, city, or zip code. Results may be printed or saved as needed.

The Kindergarten School Search information will be updated by June 1st each year.
