Fact Sheets

The Subsidized Child Care Program, administered by the Subsidy Services Section of the Division of Child Development is funded through state and federal funds and serves children and families in all 100 North Carolina counties. The Subsidy Services Section developed the Subsidy Fact Sheets to inform parents, providers and key community leaders about their local subsidy program and the services provided. Each county page includes facts that are specific to the county and also includes the benefits of subsidized child care to the family and the community. Both the statewide and county Subsidy Fact Sheets provide a snapshot at a point in time of the Subsidized Child Care Program. The Fact Sheets are updated during the fall of the current state fiscal year.
