NC Pre-K

North Carolina’s high-quality early care and learning network helps parents raise their infants, toddlers and preschoolers into healthy children, strong students, well-rounded individuals and productive citizens. The NC Pre-K Program is designed to provide high-quality educational experiences to enhance school readiness for eligible four-year old children.

Data are included for the total number of classrooms and children enrolled from 2018-2021, as well as NC Pre-K program sites by program type, county and star-rated license, if applicable.
