The Statistical Summary Report is a two-page monthly overview compiling child care licensing data for all types of care, subsidized child care expenditures, and waiting list information statewide. The summary report is designed to provide a high level review of the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education regulatory and subsidy information on a monthly basis. 

Summary reports are available approximately 60 days following the last day of the month in question. For example, if you are looking for the June Statistical Summary, it will be available for review by approximately the end of August.

Due to trends and advances in person re-identification and vulnerabilities of rolling data, the Division of Child Development and Early Education is altering the posting cadence of the Child Care Statistical Report on our public-facing website from monthly to quarterly. If you believe you require the rolling data each month, please request the data using the DCDEE Data Request Form which can be found on our website here: https://ncchildcare.ncdhhs.gov/Home/Contact
