  • Information about the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak has been moved to a new, separate area. Information provided by DCDEE related to COVID-19 and child care providers, settings and health precautions can now be found on the Coronavirus Information for Child Care page.

 

 

COVID-19 Child Care Reopening Application

North Carolina moved into Phase 1 at 5PM on Friday, May 8th. Child care providers who wish to reopen their facility after 5PM on Friday May 8th should complete the COVID-19 Child Care Reopening Application at least 48 hours before reopening. After submitting an application, your child care consultant will reach out to discuss your facility’s plan to meet the updated health and safety guidelines and answer any questions about reopening. Providers who have remained open and completed a COVID-19 Emergency Child Care Provider Application will not need to fill out this application unless they closed after submitting their emergency application. If you have any questions about the Reopening Application, please reach out to your child care consultant.
