The NC Child Care Commission will hold its Fourth Quarter Meeting by Webinar on Monday, April 20, 2020

In an abundance of caution and to practice protective measures to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Child Care Commission and DCDEE are providing notice that instead of an in-person meeting, the Child Care Commission will hold its Fourth Quarter meeting by webinar on April 20, 2020. The public is invited to listen to the meeting by clicking on the link below.  If you have any questions about the information presented during the meeting, please contact the following appropriate content expert:

  • If the question is related to subsidy, please send it to a subsidized child care policy consultant.
  • If the question is related to the NC Pre-K Program, please send it to a NC Pre-K consultant.
  • If the question relates to regulatory services, please send it to a child care consultant. 
  • For all other questions, email them to DCDEE Communications at [email protected] .

Remote Learning Resources

Birth – 2 years, NC Pre-K/Pre-K, and K – 2nd Grade

In an effort to support teachers and families, DCDEE and the NC Department of Public Instruction Office of Early Learning have worked collaboratively to gather and create resources to provide weekly learning activities that do not require technology and are aligned to NC standards. Resources are organized by age and grade level. Knowing that children develop and learn at different rates, feel free to look at resources outside of your child’s age or grade level.
